Russia's best-selling car model in March released: Top 10 Chinese cars occupy 6 seats

On April 9th, it was reported that recently, "SAIC Data Research" released the top ten Russian car sales rankings for March. The new car sales in Russia reached 146500 units that month, setting a record for the highest monthly sales since May 2021, and achieving a growth of 2.1 times compared to the same period last year.
Among the top 10 brands in terms of sales, except for the top domestic brand Lada, all 9 seats are occupied by Chinese brands, completely replacing the former Japanese and Korean automotive power, indicating that the absolute dominant position of Chinese cars in the Russian market has been established.
In terms of vehicle models, the first and second place are both products of the Russian domestic car brand Lada, namely Lada Granta and Vesta, with sales of 18717 and 11155 vehicles respectively, making them the only models with sales exceeding 10000 in February.
In addition, the Ladaniwa Travel Edition and Ladaniwa Legend have also entered the top ten in sales, with sales of 5213 and 4772 vehicles respectively, ranking fourth and seventh.
Except for these four cars, the other six are all Chinese brand cars, which are:
Haval Jolin (domestic first love) ranked third, with sales of 6387 vehicles in March; Geely Monjaro sold 5175 vehicles, ranking fifth; Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max ranked sixth with sales of 5151 vehicles; Oumengda 5 ranked eighth with sales of 3761 vehicles; Haval M63468 vehicles, ranking ninth; Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, with 3241 vehicles, ranks tenth.
It is worth mentioning that SUVs account for the vast majority of the top ten best-selling cars. If car companies want to export cars to Russia, SUVs are undoubtedly a good choice.
