According to statistics from Interface Think Tank and Hanwen Information, the import and export pattern of China's electric manned vehicles will show a significant differentiation trend from January to February 2025. The import quantity and amount have significantly decreased compared to the same period in the past, while exports have been booming, with both export volume and export value increasing year-on-year, further highlighting the trade characteristics of "large exports and small imports".
From the perspective of segmented products, the passenger car market has undergone a baptism of "price wars", where companies compete for market share through differentiated pricing strategies. The average price of passenger cars fluctuates greatly year-on-year, and prices show a downward trend; Driven by the technological advantages of commercial vehicle electrification and the global trend of public transportation electrification, the export volume of the bus market has significantly increased. However, with more and more companies entering the international market, price competition has become increasingly fierce. In addition, factors such as fluctuations in raw material prices and the retreat of overseas subsidy policies have suppressed export prices.
In January and February, the cumulative import and export total of electric manned vehicles in China was 7.7 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 4.54%. Among them, the cumulative export amount was 7.407 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 5.62%; The cumulative export quantity was 407700 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 33.52%.
From January to February, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Jiangsu ranked among the top three in terms of exports of electric manned vehicles, while Anhui, Shaanxi, Guangdong, and Jiangsu saw year-on-year growth rates exceeding 100%
