China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: Last year, the import value of automotive parts products was 29.44 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%

On February 7th, data from the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that in December 2024, the import value of automotive parts products reached 2.14 billion US dollars, a month on month decrease of 16.6% and a year-on-year decrease of 29.1%. At the same time, the cumulative import amount of automotive parts products for the whole year of 2024 reached 29.44 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%.
In terms of exports, in December 2024, the export value of automotive parts products reached 9.78 billion US dollars, a month on month increase of 11.2% and a year-on-year increase of 16.1%. In 2024, the cumulative export value of automotive parts products reached 105.61 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%.
