Relay

A relay is an electronic control device with switching characteristics. It is mainly composed of coil, contact system and magnetic circuit system. When the relay coil is energized, it generates a magnetic force to attract the iron core, and drives the moving contact connected with the iron core and the static contact to close, forming the circuit conduction; When the coil is powered off, the magnetic force disappears, the iron core loses its attraction, the moving contact returns to its original position under the action of the spring, and the circuit is disconnected.

Relays are widely used in automatic control systems for remote operation or control of high-current circuits. They are widely used in power systems, automobiles, home appliances, industrial automation, communication equipment and other fields. Relays can be divided into electromagnetic relays, solid relays, time relays, temperature relays and other different types according to their working principle, structure and control parameters.
